Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II for Tiffin Hospital to deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of therapies. The role requires maintaining ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and related procedures while ensuring patient and family education.

The candidate will work under ACLS/PALS guidelines, with RRT licensure, NBRC credentialing, and EPIC EHR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state.
• NBRC credentialed; BLS required; ACLS, PALS as listed.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care via assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy and tracheostomy as needed.
• Perform CPR and airway management per ACLS guidelines.
• Set up and monitor ventilators and manage oxygen therapy.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and home care as needed.
• Maintain respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.
• Participate as preceptor for new staff or students.
