Job summary

Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to provide comprehensive respiratory care and education. The role includes patient assessment, planning, intervention, ventilator management and staff education.

Candidates should have NBRC credential, current state license, BLS/ACLS, and at least two years of experience in respiratory care. The position may involve shift leadership as Charge Therapist and collaboration with physicians on procedures while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field preferred.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state you work (required).
• NBRC credentialed (required).
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional (required).
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS or other advanced certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosolized medications, ventilator care and airway management as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy as needed.
• Serve as shift Charge Therapist with staffing oversight and patient coverage.
• Educate patients and staff; document procedures in patient records.
• Assist physicians with procedures (e.g., bronchoscopy) as trained.
