Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's St. Francis Medical Center seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to provide comprehensive respiratory care, assess patients, plan and evaluate therapies, including oxygen delivery and ventilator support.

The role includes mentoring staff, serving as Charge Therapist, performing procedures, and ensuring patient safety while documenting in the EHR and coordinating with physicians.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state
• NBRC credentialed
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or actively pursuing them.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen delivery, aerosol therapy, ventilator care and education.
• Serve as shift Charge Therapist to ensure staffing and coverage.
• Instruct patients and families on therapies and home care.
• Monitor patient response and adjust therapy as indicated.
