Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II at Perrysburg Medical Center to deliver comprehensive respiratory care, assess patient needs and adjust therapies. The role includes supervising staff during shift coverage and assisting physicians with procedures as required.

The position requires a state license in good standing, NBRC credentialing, and a minimum of two years' experience in respiratory care, with BLS and ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related healthcare field preferred.
• Licensure requirements and NBRC credentialing as specified in job postings.
• Two years of Respiratory Care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy and invasive monitoring as needed.
• Perform CPR per ACLS protocol and manage airway therapies.
• Operate ventilators and monitor patient response to therapies.
• Precept new staff and students; educate patients and families.
