Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II at Fairfield Hospital to provide comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, planning, intervention and education. The role involves monitoring patient responses and adjusting therapies as needed, as well as interprofessional collaboration to optimize outcomes.

The position requires licensure and NBRC credentials, with opportunities to participate in education and staff precepting.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as Respiratory Care Professional.
• Current Respiratory Care License and NBRC credentialed.
• BLS and ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders including assessments, planning, implementation and education.
• Serve as Charge Therapist to ensure staffing coverage.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as bronchoscopy and airway management.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and monitor ventilation and patient response.
