Job summary

Bon Secours seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II for St. Francis Downtown to deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, planning and education.

The role involves monitoring patient responses, assisting physicians with procedures, and ensuring safe equipment use. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy, active licensure, NBRC credentials, and at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field is preferred.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state of work is required.
• NBRC credentialed and other certifications (ACLS, PALS, BLS) are required or preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention and education.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy as needed.
• Assist with procedures and airway management under physician orders.
• Serve as a preceptor to new staff and students.
• Maintain and operate respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.
