Job summary

Bon Secours is hiring a Respiratory Care Practitioner II at St. Francis Medical Center for night shifts. You will assess and treat patients, operate ventilators, provide therapies and educate patients and staff. Requires 2+ years of experience, current state license, NBRC credential, and BLS/ACLS.

The role includes potential charge therapist responsibilities and collaboration with physicians to optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional (required).
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state of work (required).
• NBRC credentialed (required).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred/required as listed.
• NRP and CPFT/RPFT credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen, aerosolized meds, ventilation and airway management.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate therapies; monitor patient responses.
• Serve as shift Charge Therapist ensuring staffing coverage for care areas.
• Educate patients and staff; document procedures in records.
• Participate in CPR and advanced life support as needed.
