Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's St. Francis Downtown campus seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to provide comprehensive respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation. Includes oxygen/therapy delivery, ventilator care and staff education.

The role may serve as Charge Therapist, perform procedures, monitor responses and collaborate with physicians. Licensure, NBRC, BLS/ACLS/PALS and 2 years' experience are required; EPIC EHR training preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree related to respiratory therapy or healthcare (preferred).
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state of practice.
• NBRC credentialed (required).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Deliver oxygen and aerosol therapies, ventilator care, and bronchial hygiene.
• Monitor patient response and modify treatments as needed.
• May serve as Charge Therapist to ensure staffing and coverage.
• Educate patients and staff on therapies and equipment.
