Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II for the St. Francis Downtown unit. This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering respiratory therapies and educating patients and staff. You may serve as Charge Therapist to ensure staffing coverage and quality care.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in respiratory-related field, current state license, NBRC credentialing, and two years of experience. A strong focus on patient education and equipment proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state they are working (required).
• NBRC credentialed (required).
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Perform procedures including oxygen delivery, ventilator care and airway management.
• Monitor patient response and adjust therapies as needed.
• Supervise and train new staff or students as a preceptor.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment.
