Job summary

Riveron in Chicago, IL seeks a Resource Management (RM) Manager to optimize talent deployment and client outcomes. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of resource management experience at a professional services firm.
• 7+ years of work experience, preferably in consulting or advisory services.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and business stakeholders across Technology, IT Services, or related technical domains.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office products; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working in PowerBI is ideal.
• Strong executive presence and outstanding interpersonal relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead and develop staff members.
• Demonstrated ability to independently serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team with confidentiality.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in ever-changing, dynamic environments.
• Ability to craft and deliver verbal, written, and oral messages to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage staffing for a dedicated practice by providing teams with qualified candidates for open project needs, prioritizing needs and allocating resources in alignment with business, client, and talent strategy; acting as a value-add business partner
• Utilize information from one-on-one connects and deployment tools to assess best-fit practitioners considering skills, goals, and staffing preferences
• Advise Service Delivery teams on creative and alternate staffing solutions that may improve quality, timeliness, or margin
• Maintain understanding of full portfolio of engagements and sales pipeline for the designated business area by analyzing deployment data and gathering information from Service Delivery teams
• Identify future demand surges and supply shortages by level, skill, and industry; partner with Talent Acquisition Managers and Segment leads to mitigate misalignment
• Support deployment needs for large, cross-practice engagements, focusing on streamlined experience and adherence to Rules of Engagement
• Maintain high proficiency in deployment tools and reporting capabilities
• Exhibit attention to detail and strategic thinking to advance RM function
• Independently lead weekly staffing calls with leaders; present data insights and trends on actual and forecasted data, skills, and open needs
• Minimal travel (less than 10%)
