Job summary

Riveron in Detroit is seeking a Resource Management Manager to align the right talent with the right client at the right time, while maximizing utilization and client outcomes. You will lead staffing for a dedicated practice, analyze deployment data, and forecast demand, partnering with leaders to minimize bench and optimize growth.

This role emphasizes executive presence, stakeholder collaboration, and independent staff development, with minimal travel and strong engagement with leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of resource management experience at a professional services firm.
• 7+ years of work experience, preferably in consulting or advisory services.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and stakeholders across Technology, IT Services, or related technical domains
• Mastery of Microsoft Office, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; PowerBI ideal

Responsibilities

• Actively manage staffing for a dedicated practice by providing teams with qualified candidates for open project needs, prioritizing needs and allocating resources in alignment with business, client, and talent strategy.
• Utilize deployment data and one‑on‑ones to assess best‑fit practitioners considering skills and goals.
• Advise Service Delivery teams on staffing solutions to improve quality, timeliness, or margin.
• Maintain understanding of engagements and sales pipeline by analyzing deployment data and gathering key information from Service Delivery teams.
• Identify future demand surges and shortages; partner with Talent Acquisition to mitigate misalignment.
• Support deployment needs for large cross‑practice engagements and educate on Rules of Engagement.
• Lead weekly staffing calls with leaders; present data insights and trends on current and forecasted data.
• Travel less than 10%.
