Job summary

Riveron is seeking an experienced Resource Management (RM) Manager in the San Jose area to optimally assign resources to client projects, balance growth, and maximize utilization. The RM Manager will analyze deployment data, forecast shortages, and partner with Talent Acquisition to mitigate supply and demand gaps.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in consulting-adjacent environments, with strong Excel/PowerBI skills, executive presence, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of resource management experience at a professional services firm.
• 7+ years of work experience, preferably in consulting or advisory services.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and business stakeholders across Technology, IT Services, or related technical domains.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office Products, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working in PowerBI is ideal.
• Strong executive presence and outstanding interpersonal relationship building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead and develop staff members.
• Demonstrated ability to independently serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team that provides overall company leadership and direction, while practicing a high-level of confidentiality.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in ever-changing, dynamic environments.
• Ability to independently craft and deliver verbal, written, and oral messages and make recommendations to a variety of audiences, including client leadership and internal teams.
• Desire to get involved in Riveron culture and internal initiatives, including community service, training, interviewing, intramurals and other social/networking activities.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage staffing for a dedicated practice by providing teams with qualified candidates for open project needs, prioritizing needs and allocating resources in alignment with business, client, and talent strategy; acting as a value-add business partner.
• Utilize information from one-on-one connects and information housed in deployment tools to assess best-fit practitioners considering skills, goals, and staffing preferences.
• Advise Service Delivery teams on creative and alternate staffing solutions that may provide improved quality, timeliness, or margin.
• Maintain understanding of full portfolio of engagements and sales pipeline for the designated business area by analyzing deployment data and gathering key information from Service Delivery teams.
• Identify future demand surges and supply shortages by level, skill, and industry, and partner with Talent Acquisition Managers to develop recommendations.
• Support deployment needs for large, cross-practice engagements with a streamlined experience following Rules of Engagement.
• Maintain proficiency in deployment tools and reporting capabilities.
• Exhibit attention to detail and strategic mindset to advance RM function.
• Lead weekly staffing calls with leaders, bringing data insights and trends on actual and forecasted data, skills, and open needs.
• Minimal travel (less than 10%).
