Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge is seeking a Resort Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef. You will oversee food preparation, inventory, and staff scheduling while ensuring top-quality hospitality and adherence to sanitation codes.

Responsibilities include directing all venue food prep, contributing to new menu ideas, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Experience in hotel/resort kitchens is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in restaurant kitchens.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Direct preparation and presentation of all foods in all lodge outlets.
• Maintain health department codes and sanitation standards.
• Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff under the Chef.
• Collaborate on menu development and cost controls.
• Ensure back-of-house cleanliness and inventory management.
• Monitor supplies and equipment maintenance.
