Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Rooms Manager to lead daily operations of the resort Housekeeping and Guest Services. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, payroll control, and guest satisfaction while ensuring standards and safety. The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and operational oversight across two departments.

You will also manage audits, group blocking, and front-office needs, maintaining inventory integrity and cost controls in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of hotel/resort experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and scheduling to maximize productivity.
• Control payroll costs to achieve profitability.
• Communicate priorities via daily and weekly meetings.
• Maintain guest satisfaction meeting site goals.
• Identify process improvements for efficiency.
• Manage room inventory to maximize occupancy.
• Oversee guest accounts, rates, payments, and blocking.
• Review incoming groups for front office requirements.
• Address guest resolutions and concerns promptly.
• Own and manage Internal Audit processes.
• Ensure QA, Loss Prevention and safety compliance.
• Manage and support department finances; prepare annual budget.
• Maintain cost control and appearance of inventory.
