Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Rooms Manager to oversee daily operations of the resort's Housekeeping and Maintenance departments, ensuring guest satisfaction, staffing, budgeting, and compliance with quality standards.

You will train staff, manage schedules, control payroll costs, and monitor inventory while coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to maintain high occupancy and service levels.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, mentor, and train staff.
• 2 to 5 years of hotel/resort experience.
• Excellent communication skills with guests and team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of resort Housekeeping and Maintenance departments.
• Staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and payroll control for both departments.
• Train staff on standards and SOPs; develop associates in both departments.
• Ensure guest satisfaction, safety, QA and loss prevention compliance.
