Travel + Leisure Co. seeks a Rooms Manager to oversee resort Housekeeping and Guest Services, ensuring staffing, scheduling, and standards across both departments. The role involves budgeting, process improvements, and staff development to meet owner expectations and occupancy goals.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, expert communication, and hands-on management of payroll, audits, and guest resolutions to maintain exceptional service at our properties.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills (ability to coach, mentor, and train staff).
• Strategic thinking to plan and improve operations.
• 2 to 5 years of hotel/resort experience.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of staff and guests.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staffing and scheduling for maximum productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Control payroll costs and manage department budget and costs.
• Lead daily/weekly meetings to communicate priorities and objectives.
• Manage room inventory and ensure accurate rate application and payments.
• Oversee guest service, housekeeping, and front desk alignment with standards.
• Own internal audit, QA, and safety procedures for the departments.
