Scaldino Basement Solutions is hiring a Residential Waterproofing Sales Specialist in Union, NJ. You will serve homeowners with consultative sales, perform basement evaluations, and propose tailored waterproofing solutions.

A base rate plus a 10% uncapped commission drives earnings; the team handles lead generation and scheduling. You will operate from a company vehicle and close sales during initial consultations, while maintaining a strong customer experience that fuels referrals and repeat

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of direct‑to‑consumer/home improvement sales experience.
• Strong communication skills to translate moisture issues for homeowners.
• Comfort learning residential structures, water mitigation concepts, and product systems.
• Must have a valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Consultative sales & inspections of basements and crawlspaces during pre-scheduled appointments.
• Educate and propose tailored waterproofing solutions and related systems.
• Close on-site by outlining financing options and clear cost estimates; maximize commission earnings.
• Build relationships through exceptional customer service to earn referrals and online reviews.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, estimates, and follow-ups in the company system.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Residential Waterproofing Sales Specialist, you are the trusted expert helping homeowners protect their property from water damage.

• Consultative Sales & Inspections: Conduct thorough evaluations of basements and crawlspaces during pre-scheduled appointments to identify water management needs.
• Educate & Propose: Present tailored waterproofing solutions, sump pump systems, dehumidification units, and foundation stabilization options clearly and persuasively.
• Close On-Site: Walk homeowners through financing options, present clear cost estimates, and close sales during the initial consultation to maximize your 10% commission earnings.
• Build Relationships: Deliver an exceptional customer experience that earns home recommendations, online reviews, and referral business.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, estimates, and follow-ups within our company system.

What We're Looking For:

• Sales Mindset & Experience: 1-3+ years of success in direct-to-consumer sales, home improvement sales, or consultative sales environments.
