Job summary

ADT is seeking energetic sales advisors to demonstrate the value of security and smart home solutions. You will visit customers at their homes, listen to their needs, and tailor systems that blend security, automation, and life safety for their space and lifestyle.

Unlimited commissions offer strong upside; new advisors can earn about $95,000 and experienced advisors can exceed $150,000. Training up to $4,000 is provided during the first 8 weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using own vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
• Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems and approaches.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust: By showing up with integrity, empathy, and expertise, you will become a reliable advisor customers can count on, both during the sale and long after the installation.
• Customize each system to fit your client’s space, lifestyle, and concerns, combining security, automation, and life safety technology in ways that work for them.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups with customers to confirm that commitments were fulfilled and to generate referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities: identify and generate new sales leads to maximize outreach.
