S:US is seeking a Residential Specialist for their family shelter in Brooklyn, NY. You will provide a welcoming, safe environment for residents, promote person-centered services, and ensure building safety with 24/7 coverage.

Responsibilities include rounds, admissions, escorting residents to services, coordinating meals, and reporting in shift logs. A trauma-informed, nonjudgmental approach and F02 certification and security license are required.

• Conduct regular rounds to ensure safety and residents' wellbeing.
• Enter activity log information and shift notes accurately.
• Complete admissions paperwork.
• Escort residents to services and activities outside the facility as needed.
• Meet with Shift Supervisor for supervision.
• Plan and conduct resident self-care and social activities.
• Coordinate with case managers for assigned tasks.
• Provide initial program orientation.
• Provide office coverage and clerical support.
• Follow emergency procedures and fire drills.
