Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician II to join our Property Management team. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair systems in our single-family homes, performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as needed.

This role requires hands-on work, strong safety awareness, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in residential maintenance and familiarity with EPA/OSHA guidelines are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC Certification preferred.
• EPA Certification required.
• Must have valid driver’s license in the working state.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• Experience repairing residential appliances is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations quickly and determine steps to resolve service requests while delivering excellent customer service.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and service requests, including replacement or modification of equipment.
• Diagnose HVAC items such as thermostats, batteries and filters.
• Report major repairs or replacements before expenditures.
• Maintain safety and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Complete service requests professionally and on time.
