Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician I to join our Property Management team. You will diagnose and repair residential systems, troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues, and provide outstanding service to residents across our single-family homes.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic tools, and the ability to work on-call, including weekends and evenings. Expect a safety-focused environment with ongoing training and performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License in the working state.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in general service.
• Employee must bring their own basic tools for residential service.
• Available for on-call service work and willing to work weekends/evenings.
• Prior single-family or multi-family rental industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Interact with residents and contractors professionally.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform service or repairs as directed at residential properties.
• Troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues, appliances, and fixtures.
• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on properties.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and adhere to safety standards.
• Report major repairs and requisitions prior to expenditure of funds.
• Provide outstanding customer service and represent Progress Residential’s standards.
