Job summary

ADT Residential Service Technician role seeks a hands-on troubleshooter for security and site automation solutions. You will diagnose system issues, configure and repair equipment, and communicate status to customers and central monitoring.

Responsibilities include locating faulty components, reading blueprints, and coordinating with authorities when needed. A high school diploma or GED and relevant field experience are required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product line.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program existing security and site automation solutions.
• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.
• Read blueprints and electrical plans to complete repairs.
• Prepare trouble order forms for temporary repairs.
• Coordinate inspections with police, fire departments, or other agencies.
