Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Manager to lead the management of service jobs and preventative maintenance for occupied single-family rental homes. You will oversee a portfolio, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely resolutions for residents.

You will supervise a team, ensure training, compliance with HUD/HQS where applicable, and drive efficiencies while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing service, operations and maintenance in multifamily or single-family housing.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA certified to handle refrigerants.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Manage service jobs to provide outstanding customer service and timely resolution to resident requests.
• Review schedules and approve third party vendors, pricing, and invoices.
• Provide technical support to service technicians for proper diagnosis and repair.
• Ensure training is completed timely for all supervised staff.
• Oversee semi-annual home inspections to improve resident satisfaction and lease occupancy.
