Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the supervision of drivers and performance of daily operations.
• Establish and maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Share decision driving techniques and ensure adherence to safety guidelines; lead weekly safety meetings.
• Route all new service starts; review productivity reports; optimize routes to minimize labor costs.
• Address customer issues, complaints and inquiries; coordinate with sales for service changes.
• Monitor driver pre-trip inspections and vehicle repairs; ensure DOT hours of service compliance.
• Complete accident and injury reports; respond to investigations and claims.
• Train and orient new employees; conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure front loaders are cleaned daily and assist on routes as needed.
