Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking a Residential Route Supervisor to oversee daily service delivery to residential Waste Pro customers, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective service in line with Waste Pro practices and core values. You will lead drivers, enforce safety guidelines, and coordinate routes to maximize service calls while minimizing labor costs.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years in transportation, management, logistics or waste industry.
• Associate's Degree or 2+ years in transportation, logistics or solid waste ops with coaching/supervising responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Smith System and/or Decision Driving principles.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, ANSI and related regs.
• Valid class A or B CDL (or ability to obtain within 3 months).

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and daily operations; communicate safety and service points.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and enforce policies.
• Lead safety meetings and route delivery efficiency.
• Plan routes for new service starts and optimize productivity while controlling labor costs.
• Handle customer issues and coordinate with sales for service changes as needed.
• Conduct route observations and ensure safety procedures; train drivers accordingly.
• Monitor driver pre-trip inspections and coordinate vehicle maintenance with shop.
