Zusammenfassung

Waste Pro is seeking a Residential Route Supervisor to oversee daily service delivery for residential customers, ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective performance in line with Waste Pro practices. You will lead drivers, enforce safety, and optimize routes with a focus on exceptional service.

Responsibilities include supervising drivers, conducting route observations, handling customer issues, coordinating with sales for changes, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years in related field.
• Associate degree or 2 years in transportation/logistics or solid waste operations with supervision.
• Knowledge and application of Smith System and/or Decision Driving principles.
• Basic computer skills and MS applications.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, ANSI and related regulations.
• Valid Class A or B CDL (or ability to obtain within 3 months) and clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions and resolve problems.
• Flexible schedules including weekends and being reachable by phone.
• Positive attitude toward staff and customers.
• Knowledge of first aid techniques helpful.

Aufgaben

• Supervise drivers and daily operations; greet drivers and ensure inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and enforce policies.
• Share driving safety guidance and lead weekly safety meetings.
• Route new service starts and manage work orders, schedules and productivity reports.
• Address customer issues and coordinate with sales for service changes.
• Conduct route observations and train drivers on safety and route cleanliness.
• Monitor pre-trip inspections, vehicle repairs and DOT hours of service.
• Complete accident and injury reports; respond to investigations.
• Train and orient new employees; conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure front loaders are cleaned daily and assist on routes as needed.
