Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a Residential Route Supervisor in Mississippi to oversee daily service delivery, ensure safety, and optimize routes for residential, roll-off, and commercial services. The role emphasizes leadership, compliance with OSHA/DOT guidelines, and coordinating with dispatch and customers.

The position involves scheduling routes, addressing customer inquiries, and leading safety meetings, with a quarterly bonus program linked to safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising drivers and operations in transportation or waste industry.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and related regulations.
• Valid Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Positive leadership mindset and coaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and daily operations; ensure safety and proper inspections.
• Establish safe, clean work environment; enforce policies.
• Direct route planning for new starts; optimize routes and manage labor costs.
• Respond to customer needs and coordinate with sales/municipal contacts.
• Monitor DOT hours of service and Waste Pro regulations; document incidents.
