Job summary

Recovery Point of West Virginia is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist to provide direct residential support at our RPWVBH Residential Treatment Center. The RSS ensures a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment, supervises clients, and collaborates with the RSS Supervisor and staff to meet individual needs.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to document observations and incidents accurately, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health or residential treatment preferred.
• Ability to document services and incidents accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and support to clients residing in the facility.
• Maintain a safe, structured, respectful, and recovery-oriented environment.
• Monitor client whereabouts and ensure clients are where they are scheduled and authorized to be.
• Complete required shift documentation, logs, incident reports, and other program documentation accurately and timely.
• Attend required staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and other organizational activities.
• Assist with transportation-related activities and supervision when assigned.
