Job summary

Boca Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) to join our Operations team in a full-time, on-site role in Springfield, MA. You will support daily Housing Department operations, monitor client activity, and help maintain a therapeutic environment within a residential setting.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of behavioral health or residential care experience, CPR certification, and the ability to observe medications and urine drug screens.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or residential care preferred.
• CPR certification required (or obtained within 30 days).
• Knowledge of Joint Commission requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support clients daily in the Housing Department.
• Supervise client activities and maintain adherence to daily schedule.
• Record observations and document in MORs and reports.
• Attend to routine rounds and ensure immediate needs are met.
• Communicate client concerns clearly and document appropriately.
• Assist in training new RSS staff and coordinate with departments.
