Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) seeks a Residential Support Specialist (RSS) to provide direct support services in our Behavioral Health division for substance use disorder and behavioral health clients. Responsible for safety, supervision, and engaging residents in pro-recovery activities.

The Wellness Support Program offers a 24/7 structured housing environment with professional development and the chance to pursue QAP certificate training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification within 3 months of hire.
• Food handlers card within 3 months of hire.
• Valid State of Alaska Driver’s License or obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and supervision for residents to promote a pro-recovery environment.
• Engage residents in life skills, groups, and recreational activities.
• Maintain safety and security of the facility and program residents.
• Assist with self-administration of medications and documentation.
• Coordinate with SEARHC and community entities; maintain confidential records.
