Job summary

Scion Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager, Residential Services to lead a long‑standing men’s residential treatment program in San Francisco.

You will supervise a small team, coordinate treatment activities, and ensure safe, recovery‑oriented operations on-site. The ideal candidate has experience in substance use disorder treatment, strong leadership, and a compassionate, hands‑on management style suitable for a dynamic nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related field.
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment or residential recovery settings.
• Previous supervision or leadership of staff or teams.
• Strong understanding of recovery-oriented care and needs of residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a long-term residential substance use disorder treatment program.
• Provide leadership and direction for program activities, resident services, and coordination.
• Monitor resident participation, schedules, and program expectations.
• Respond to resident concerns and emergencies with sound judgment and compassion.
• Supervise and support a small multidisciplinary team of counselors and staff.
• Coordinate resident services and maintain continuity of care.
• Participate in community activities to promote engagement and connection.
• Review documentation, conduct chart audits, and ensure compliant recordkeeping.
• Assist admissions processes, including screenings and eligibility assessments.
• Communicate program requirements and treatment options clearly to residents and families.
