Progress Foundation seeks an Assistant Director for the San Francisco Residential program. You will oversee client flow, maintain treatment planning, and supervise counselors under the Program Director. Strong leadership and regulatory compliance are essential.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a mental health field and at least three years in a community MH setting, with residential experience preferred. Good communication and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in mental health.
• Minimum three years in a community mental health program, with supervisory experience.
• Residential treatment knowledge or social rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication with staff, clients, and providers.
• Must maintain First Aid/CPR certification and ongoing training.
• California licensure/clearance as required by state regulatory bodies.

Responsabilités

• Under Program Director, oversee flow of clients into/out of the residential facility.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client referral sources and related services.
• Monitor treatment planning and charting for residential clients.
• Review charts to ensure confidentiality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise counselors, conduct regular supervision sessions, and document evaluations.
• Ensure timely charting and treatment planning by staff counselors.
• Monitor medication logs for accuracy and renewals as needed.
• Promote social rehabilitation philosophy among staff and clients.
• Assist in screening, hiring, and supervising fill-ins, volunteers, and interns.
