Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance across the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and ensure safety and code compliance while meeting Greystar standards.

This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal), a valid driver’s license for on-site equipment, and the ability to work a flexible on-call schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications required where applicable.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property depending on size.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance while diagnosing defects and repairing to code and safety standards.
• Executes make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Accesses and tracks materials, supplies, and tools from maintenance, notifies supervisors for reorders.
• Complete documentation and paperwork for service requests to ensure traceability.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, debris removal, and painting as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
