Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of its properties, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will diagnose defects from resident requests, complete make-readies for new move-ins, manage orders, and document work.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel occasionally. This is a full-time onsite position with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for training and

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications are required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required for all Service Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Manages the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspection, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Controls materials: tracks inventory, reorders supplies, and returns unused items to the proper location.
• Documents service requests promptly and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.
