Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform essential maintenance and upkeep across the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality for residents. You will handle work orders, preventative tasks, and make-ready duties to prepare units for new tenants.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license where applicable, and adherence to safety policies. Onsite work with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.
• State and local certification requirements as applicable to all Service Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance on the property per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Manages materials and equipment by tracking inventory and notifying the maintenance supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning, painting curbs, and assisting cost-control efforts by repairing rather than replacing parts.

Education
