Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations across its communities. The role involves corrective, preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, as well as make-ready tasks under supervision.

Regular on-site attendance is required and duties include responding to resident requests and upholding safety standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance processes for the property, including corrective, preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Handle make-ready process under supervision of Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly for common areas, buildings, and units.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend property life and minimize future repairs.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance shop, and adhere to safety standards/OSHA guidelines.
• Participate in on-call emergency at the community and assist with inventory monitoring.
