Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure our buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and cleanliness standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete preventive maintenance on site.

You will also manage make-ready tasks for vacant units, coordinate with vendors, and maintain accurate service documentation. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required; the role includes on-call responsibilities and potential travel

Qualifications

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs per policies and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units and coordinates with vendors.
• Maintains documentation and paperwork for service requests.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Makes vacant units ready for leasing and coordinates with vendors.
• Tracks inventory and reports re-ordering needs to maintenance supervisor.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing where possible.
