Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance across our property grounds and buildings. The role involves diagnosing defects, completing work orders, and coordinating make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and adherence to safety policies. You will support inventory control, document work, and assist with vendor coordination on a busy residential property.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required (Type I & II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property where applicable.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and perform preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Finish make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Track inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assist in grounds and common areas upkeep, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
