Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and assist in make-ready preparations for new move-ins.

This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A full-time schedule with potential evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected, with robust benefits

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repair tasks across building systems.
• Ability to read and follow policies and safety procedures.
• Experience diagnosing and fixing issues from resident requests.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policy.
• Prepare vacants for leasing and perform make-ready tasks.
• Track inventory and coordinate with vendors for supplies.
• Document work and service requests accurately.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts.
