Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical upkeep of buildings, grounds, and amenities meet company standards for safety and functionality.

The role involves completing work orders, performing make-ready tasks for vacant units, and maintaining property grounds. It requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and state/local certifications as needed. The position includes comprehensive benefits and a potential bonus structure.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes ready by inspecting and scheduling tasks for vacant units and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and track inventory.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting tasks.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
