Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Responsibilities include diagnosing defects, completing the make-ready process for leasing, tracking inventory, documenting work orders, and maintaining grounds. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications are required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on property grounds, where applicable.
• Ability to diagnose and repair building systems while following safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and coordinates vendors.
• Manages materials flow, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for reorders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and minor repairs.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
