Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure physical aspects of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. You will perform repairs, complete work orders, and assist with make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license for property use, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests for service and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting work.
• Accesses and tracks materials from the maintenance department, returns unused items, and notifies supervisors about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation to ensure service requests are properly recorded and tracked.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs/signage, and light landscaping tasks.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools and materials efficiently.
