Job summary

Greystar in Mansfield, MA is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities to Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready inspections to support leasing and resident satisfaction.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license for on-property vehicles, and compliance with safety rules.

Qualifications

EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal) required.
State and Local certifications as required.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs per policies and code requirements.
Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing by inspecting, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are finished.
Follows procedures to obtain materials from the maintenance department, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper recording and tracking.
Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting, and minor repairs.
