Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to keep building exteriors, interiors, and common areas safe, clean, and fully functional. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to resident requests with quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, prepping vacant units, managing materials, and documenting tasks. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certification are required, with on-call/work-evening flexibility likely.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property vehicles.
• Must meet state and local certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Finish make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Access materials, track inventory, and notify for re-orders as needed.
• Document service activities clearly and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, amenities and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when possible.
