Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician for Stone Gate, Marlborough, MA. You will perform technical and mechanical work to ensure building systems, grounds, and amenities meet standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant units, while tracking inventory and documenting tasks. Requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver's license for golf-cart

Qualifications

• Must have EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs per policies and codes.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant apartments, prepares units and schedules vendors as needed.
• Tracks materials and inventory, retrieves items from storage and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately for proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, performs cleaning and light painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
