Job summary

Greystar is seeking a property maintenance technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and amenities meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and complete preventive maintenance across multiple units and common areas.

Responsibilities include making-ready vacant homes, inspecting punch lists, tracking inventory, and documenting work orders. OSHA safety practices apply, and EPA refrigerant certifications are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance and repairs on residential properties.
• EPA refrigerant certification required (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate golf carts on property when needed.
• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance to meet property standards.
• Perform the make-ready process for vacant apartments and inspect punch lists.
• Track materials, inventory, and re-order supplies as needed.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform light cleaning and painting as needed.
• Help control costs by using parts and materials efficiently.
