Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle service requests, repairs, and make-ready duties at a multi‑family community. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive tasks, and maintain common areas to Greystar standards.

The role requires EPA certifications and a valid driver’s license, with opportunities to participate in safety trainings and additional benefits. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential for success in this on‑site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools and must be skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to diagnose and correct problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Address and repair resident maintenance requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Set standards for the cleanliness and appearance of grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Support budgeting and cost-control for repairs and upkeep.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
