Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform repairs across the community, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall function in line with Greystar standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues from resident requests, completing make-ready tasks, inspecting common areas, and coordinating with vendors while maintaining budgeted materials. Strong customer service and tool use are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent
• Experience in property management maintenance or related field preferred
• Must be able to use hand tools safely and read/interpret guidelines
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills are essential
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for coordination
• Proficiency with basic computer programs; property management system experience is a plus
• Mathematical skills to handle basic financial, administrative and legal documents

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair issues in residents' units and common areas
• Manage make-ready process and coordinate with vendors and contractors
• Inspect grounds, exteriors, interiors, and amenities to ensure Greystar standards
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials within budget
• Assist in safety meetings and compliance with OSHA and MSDS requirements
• Support budgeting for repairs and capital projects
• Provide excellent customer service and address resident inquiries promptly
