Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep the community clean, safe, and well-maintained. You will diagnose issues from resident requests and perform timely repairs following safety policies.

You will also coordinate make-ready inspections for vacant units, manage vendor schedules, and uphold Greystar’s high standards across grounds, exteriors, and common areas. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and hands-on experience in property maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related training/experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools (unless prohibited by state law) and knowledge of safe tool use.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults from resident requests and perform repairs per safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and ensure quality work.
• Set standards for grounds, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work to ensure policy compliance and quality.
• Maintain inventory and assist with budget and cost-control measures.
