Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site maintenance technician to oversee and perform hands-on repairs across the community, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. You will manage work orders, make-ready tasks for new move-ins, and coordinate with vendors to uphold Greystar standards.

This role requires practical maintenance skills, tool proficiency, and strong customer service to engage residents and teammates while contributing to cost-effective, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related training.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete maintenance tasks per policy.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant homes including inspections and scheduling of vendors.
• Maintain grounds, building exteriors, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work by staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Manage inventory and support budgeted repairs and projects.
